2019 marks Prostate Cancer Canada’s 25th anniversary on its journey to end the disease. During that time, the organization has helped contribute to the 50% reduction in mortality rate.
Prostate cancer is the most common cancer affecting Canadian men. One in seven will be diagnosed with the disease. The good news is that when diagnosed early, survival is nearly 100%! Still an estimated 4,100 will die annually as a result, so Prostate Cancer Canada continues to work toward the day where no lives are lost to this disease.
